The gameplay is based on the confrontation between different factions, which are based on the territory of their castle. Some ideas were taken from the equally iconic Heroes IV. The only difference here is the transfer of the game world into a fully three-dimensional space. The game mechanics are the same as in Heroes III. Publishing of the game was handled by the rights holder for this series, the French giant of the video entertainment world Ubisoft.
Russian developers from one of the best domestic studios Nival Interactive worked on the development of this project. Heroes of might and magic v is the fifth numbered sequel to the famous and popular series of tactical strategy games in the fantasy setting of the Might & Magic world.
